Finding problems in our life is easy. Our brains are designed to anticipate problems and dangers. That’s how it keeps us safe. This exercise is designed get your client to ask themself “What’s NOT wrong with my life?” as well as “What IS wrong with it?”

This exercise gets your client to identify not only what’s going wrong in their life, but more importantly, what’s ‘not wrong’ in their life. Ask someone to tell you what’s wrong in their life and they’ll often have a list of things. Getting them to tell you the positive things is a bit more difficult.

But, it’s discovering the positive that changes their mindset. Recording these things helps to build motivation and positivity during their coaching process.
